Introducing the SeeRead Chrome extension

Hey everyone, it’s Cosmo.

I posted a video showing how I condensed a 40-page research paper into a single visual summary. Here's the tool I used to do it — a new app I built called SeeRead.

It's a Chrome extension that transforms long-form content into beautiful visual summaries. Visit any webpage, click the extension, and get an infographic-style breakdown. Pick from 23 different visual styles depending on the mood or content.

It handles:

  • Articles

  • Podcasts (Apple and Spotify for now)

  • Pasted text

  • YouTube videos

  • Uploaded PDF, audio, and image files

A few examples.

I vibe coded and shipped the first version in 3 days using Claude Code and Opus 4.5. What started as an experiment turned out to be useful enough that I kept going. It’s truly incredible what’s possible with AI these days!

The idea came from my own habit of saving articles I never get back to. A visual summary captures the key points in a format that's easier to scan, save, and share.

There's a free tier to try it out, with paid credit packs starting at $4.99. An iOS app is coming soon.

If you give it a shot, I’d love to hear what you think and see what you make!

Have a beautiful New Years, and I’ll see you in 2026!

Blessings,
Cosmo
